The Crown of Excellence was once again ours……. 12 out of the last 13 years…... It recognizes incoming conversion, outgoing conversion, and outgoing referrals. The top Relocation Award given each year by Leading RE.

Let me congratulate the Relocation Service Council Team members in each office who remind us of the importance of giving in order to receive, and the importance of converting at both ends.

To our Relocation folks who work so hard to make your and my jobs easier and more professional. We won many other relocation awards and now are number three network wide in generating referrals. Wow!!

In addition to this award there were many others in marketing, website quality, and Relo National Home search which now we rank number three in the nation at generating national traffic through our site.

Some more thanks are in order today…The Atic is up. I am sitting here with a floor full of busy bees putting the finishing touches on our new Atic.

From the RAC team members for their input, to the IT folks and marketing folks that have made it happen over the past 3 months. You have made a searchable organized intranet a reality. A heartfelt thank you from all of us.

One downer with the new Atic stats feature is that we have over two thousand listings without a slideshow and over 500 listings without being geo- coded properly. Please join me and get your properties in order. The web is the front door of your listing.

A few take always from the Leading RE National Meeting

How did we win the top award once again????….we had a goal, we broke it down into activities that will achieve the goal. We had great leadership from relocation as well as in the field with our RSC reps that were as creative and diligent as can be at keeping you and I in the game. One word accountability. Are you running your business like a business? We can do it each and every day, week, quarter or annually like the CROWN. It works….. we proved it once again! Make sure you are working the plan!

The First 12 Days of March have roared in like a Lion. I am so happy to report 57 sales a day!! Let’s hold them together. 690 sales vs 380 last year same 12 days. It is incumbent on us individually and collectively to build on the momentum. What that means is to keep a diligent watch on prices. As the buyers sense that it is now the time they are going to be looking for; and finding the best available for the price. THE BIGGEST TAKE AWAY FROM OUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE BEEN AT THIS NOW MUCH LONGER….DO NOT LET UP ON PRICE PEDDLE. Because there are more sales is no reason to not press on the price buttons. Way to much inventory out there and coming with the spring market and distressed sellers and lenders…... You know the drill. You have the tools!

If you are not part of this March surge you need to hear what my good friend Coach Holtz always said. The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely to be the one who dropped it!

OK not into sports how about this one?
